Bud has a new plane! It is an S-LSA version of the Euro-Fox, an Aerotek A240. It went online with Sport Pilot Chicago (hgr 12) this past week. In other news, over the holidays, and through out the winter, Miguel and crew have been flying a ski equiped Quicksilver off of the snow. I saw Mike (hgr 1) out with his trike last weekend, and the usual 152's, L-5's, Sportcruiser, and US Army Blackhawks have been seen flying at 0C8 this past week. In Thorp news, 6CF is down for maintenance, 5CF's engine is due back soon, and word is that 7CF will be repaired this summer. Cactus the cat is still on watch, and the flying should be great this weekend. (Caution water/ice is on the south end of the field. I'll try and have orange cones marking the area. South end of the eastern runway lights are out with electrical problems.) Happy flying, hope to see you soon!

Was in Cushing field ages ago.. 1991, the guys you're referring to, were Malaysian, all great friends of mine, from Malaysia, when I met them in 1991, I suggested they went to Cushing for their licences. none were sponsored by any government. Fareh (the one you can't remember) is now the Chief Pilot of the biggest Low Cost Airline in S.E. Asia (Air Asia), Shankar is flying a private jet and Fyroll is missing in action!!!
